ARCHDIOCESAN ADMINISTRATION BUILDING New Orleans, Louisiana The imposing administration building for the Archdiocese of New Orleans is located on Walmsey Avenue adjacent to the Notre Dame Seminary.  The large two-story, rectangular building has a white and gray cast stone exterior and encloses a large, landscaped, interior court.  The structural framing is reinforced concrete with timber composite pile foundations.

CLASSROOMS & CAFETERIA Riverside Academy, Reserve, LA A 13,000 s.f. addition to the Riverside Academy was designed in three months and constructed in about four months for the August 1994 school year.  The new facility houses six classrooms and a 350 student cafeteria with state-of the-art kitchen.

COMPONENT ABLATOR FACILITY, MARTIN MARIETTA New Orleans, Louisiana This 80,000 s.f. environmentally controlled facility was designed and constructed in less than two years to meet the demanding schedule of the space shuttle program.  Fromherz Engineers, Inc. was the Architectural and Engineering Consultant had provided all the in-house design services.  The firm and the project manager, Jay Shah, received awards from NASA and Martin Marietta for outstanding services.

WYNHOVEN I AND II, APARTMENTS FOR ELDERLY New Orleans, Louisiana These buildings are multistory concrete structures with post-tensioned floor slab supported on composite concrete/timber piles.  Fromherz Engineers, Inc. was responsible for site development, utilities and structural design for both buildings.

DISTRIBUTION CENTER AND OFFICES New Orleans, Louisiana Our firm completed planning & preliminary engineering for this design/build project for MacFrugal's Pic 'N Save's largest distributor center in Southern USA.  The major challenge was the drainage of this flat site with 25 acres of roof and 30 acres of pavement.
